靴下で多い丸編み機の場合、履き口から編みはじめ～次にかかと～つま先へと順に円筒状に編立てます。
編機はそれぞれの糸や生地の厚みに対応するため様々な針数があり、鈴木靴下の靴下は、84本～200本の針で編み立てられます。
