奈良芸術短期大学の学生さんに来社いただきました✨

本日、三宅町と連携協定を結んでいる奈良芸術短期大学の学生さんに来社いただきました。
本社での工場見学や、本店ショップ2Fシアタールームで鈴木靴下公式movie『靴下づくりの裏側や開発ストーリー』もご覧いただき、ゆったりと滞在いただきました✨

靴下づくりの際、どうしても出てしまう廃材”靴下の輪っか”をたくさんもらっていただき、喜んでいただきました🧦
奈良芸の学生さんの発想でまた何か新しいデザインに生まれ変わらせてくださると思います！

奈良芸術短期大学は、洋画、日本画、デザイン、陶芸、染織、クラフトデザインの6つのコースがあり、芸術を幅広く学んでおられます。
鈴木靴下の”歴史”と”モノづくり”に興味を持っていただきありがとうございました！

Today, students from Nara College of Art, which has a cooperation agreement with Miyake-cho, visited our company.
They enjoyed a factory tour at our head office and watched the official Suzuki socks movie “Behind the Sock Making Process and Development Story” in the theater room on the 2nd floor of our main store.

We were delighted to receive many “sock rings,” the waste material that is inevitably produced during the sock-making process.
We are sure that the students of Nara University of Arts will come up with new ideas to create a new design!

Nara College of Art has six courses: Western painting, Japanese painting, design, ceramics, weaving and dyeing, and craft design.
Thank you very much for your interest in the history and craftsmanship of Suzuki Socks!

月光荘画材店👨🏻‍🎨

東京の銀座から、鈴木靴下のものづくりに興味を持っていただいた画材店「月光荘」の店主・スタッフの方に来店いただきました📯
「月光荘」とは1917年創業の画材店で、絵の具や絵筆、パレット、スケッチブックはもちろん、それらを持ち運ぶためのバッグにいたるまで、取扱商品のすべてをオリジナルで製造販売されています。

身に着けてられる服はすべてホルンのマークがついた絵描きさん向けの素敵なこだわりのオリジナル商品でした👨🏻‍🎨
The Beatlesさんが画材として使用されたり…アラーキーさんと写真集作られていたり…松下幸之助さんが常連のお客様だった…などなど様々なアーティストの方々とコラボレーションされておられます。

弊社の開発物語、靴下が出来上がるまでの生産工程、お米が出来るまでの農家の一年の公式movieを見るために東京からわざわざ来ていただいたようで、本当にありがたく思います。
そんなものづくりへのこだわりたっぷりの店主・スタッフの方に鈴木靴下や田舎のものづくりにも興味をもっていただけて本当に嬉しい限りです。

月光荘画材店

The owner and staff of the art supply store “Gekkoso” visited us from Ginza, Tokyo, interested in Suzuki Socks’ craftsmanship📯.
Gekkoso” is an art supply store established in 1917, which manufactures and sells original products such as paints, paintbrushes, palettes, sketchbooks, and even bags for carrying them around.

All the clothes worn were original products with a nice attention to detail for painters with horn marks. 👨🏻‍🎨
The Beatles used our products as art materials…we made a photo book with Mr. Araki…Mr. Konosuke Matsushita was a regular customer…and we have collaborated with many other artists. We are very happy to have collaborated with various artists.

We are very grateful that they came all the way from Tokyo to watch the official movie of our development story, the production process until the socks are made, and a year in the life of a farmer until rice is produced.
We are very happy that the owner and staff, who are so dedicated to manufacturing, are interested in Suzuki socks and rural craftsmanship.
