Product design with industry, government, and academia Nara Art Junior College x Miyake-cho x Baseball gloves and socks
Students at Nara Art Junior College took on the challenge of creating products using discarded waste materials under the theme of upcycling. Suzuki Socks provided lint, “rings” from the sock production process, and yarn-molding cones. They were transformed into a variety of unique works of art, and we were made aware of the new possibilities of waste materials.
We hope that you will continue to take an interest in various things and encourage original designs and creations in the future.
Thank you for allowing us to participate in this initiative.

The article “A New Corporate Image Envisioned by Women in Nara” highlighted the activities of women in Nara Prefecture, a production center for innerwear, legwear, and shoes, who have changed careers from other industries to take over the family business and changed the shape of the company.
Suzuki Socks also hopes to take the “rice bran fiber” business to the next step, together with Miyake-cho’s inbound business and other initiatives 🛫.
